Junior Open Water

The Jr. Open Water course at Adventure Dive is open to all kids from 10-14 years old. Essentially the same Open Water course taken by adults, the Jr. course will result in a Jr. Open Water certification, with the restrictions that they dive no deeper than 60 feet and must dive with an adult. They can join any regularly scheduled group class, either the Basic Diver program or Scubadiver program, can do the course as a private, or can join our summer Scubacamp program, just for kids!

Prerequisite

10 and 11 year olds that have not completed Seal Team or Master Seal Team need to do a 2 hour Discover Scuba experience in order to be evaluated by our instructors. They will assess the child's maturity, focus, and level of comfort to determine if they are ready for the course.
