Deep Specialty
Learn about staging tanks, deep stops, dealing with narcosis and special procedures needed to safely explore deep walls, reefs and wrecks. When a diver is properly trained to dive to 130 feet, a fascinating array of new underwater sights will come into focus. From historic shipwrecks to dramatic walls, training as a deep diver will help you feel comfortable exploring sites located beyond the reach of many divers. The 4 hour classroom & pool session will familiarize you with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, techniques, hazards and enjoyment of diving deep. The 4 open water dives can be completed on one of our Caribbean adventures, or during one of our local Bredina Springs weekends. At the completion of this course, you will receive a PADI Deep Diver Specialty Card. This specialty can be applied toward the Master Diver program.
